BIRTH
Bartholomew Allerton's birth is estimated at 1612 or 1613 based on the fact that he was the eldest child and his parents were married in November 1611 in Leiden, Holland.
MARRIAGES
Bartholomew Allerton mentions his deceased wife Margaret, and his current wife Sarah, in his will of 1658. His wife Sarah's will of 1678 mentions her brother John Fairfax, thus identifying her maiden name of Fairfax.
DEATH
Bartholomew died sometime between 15 October 1658 (when he signed his will) and 19 February 1658/9 (when it was proved).
PROBATE
Bartholomew Allerton of Bramfield, co. Suffolk, England, dated his will on 15 October 1658, and it was proved 19 February 1658/9. The record is found in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, PROB 11/287/574. His wife Sarah's will, which names his children, is found in the Archdeaconry of Suffolk, Registered Wills 73:208 (FHL microfilm #96981).
