Mrs. Sarah Eaton
Nothing of significance is known about Sarah, the wife of Francis Eaton, including her maiden name. If she married Francis Eaton in Bristol, co. Gloucester, then presumably she came from this region as well. However, a marriage record has not been found, and it is possible Francis Eaton may have been an unrecorded member of the Leiden congregation and so possibly could have married here there: Francis Eaton does appear grouped with other Leiden church members within William Bradford's passenger list.
Sarah and Francis had their first child Samuel in late 1619 or early 1620. Francis, Sarah, and "sucking" child Samuel came on the Mayflower to Plymouth in 1620. Sarah died sometime the first winter at Plymouth, likely between January and March 1621.
